Cheap cotton wasn’t worth it
If you haven’t heard the phrase “Cheap cotton wasn’t worth it” before, it is a rather obvious witticism directed at black Americans by certain whites. It is of course a reference to slavery, something white Americans are never allowed to forget although none of them has ever been a slave master (kinky sexual practices aside).
The phrase was used recently following the senseless stabbing of a white seventeen year old in Texas by a black seventeen year old. Although Karmelo Anthony has been charged with murder, he will be pleading not guilty so is entitled to the presumption of innocence in spite of the weight of the evidence against him. That presumption of innocence will be acknowledged here. It is though not this senseless act that has caused so much ire but the reaction to it. While with one sad exception, leading black conservatives have condemned this killing, the reaction of so many politically active blacks is a sad reminder to white people just how much some blacks hate them.
There is no evidence that race was ever a motive in this killing, although there is definitely some evidence that Anthony wanted to kill someone that day, if not Austin Metcalf then someone, white or otherwise. The two were at a sports event when Anthony entered the tent occupied by Metcalf and his twin brother. If the name of the former sounds familiar, he was named after the American basketball player Carmelo Anthony, who retired in 2013; the two are not related.
As Anthony did not belong to the team associated with that tent, Metcalf asked him to leave or perhaps told him to leave. Shortly, Anthony retrieved a knife from his bag, and Metcalf was stabbed through the heart. The reader will find full details on-line along with much inaccurate information as well as outright lies, but in typical American fashion, the local police department has released considerable information relating to the arrest; this seven page document can be found here.
It is also usual to suppress the names of minors in criminal proceedings, be they suspects, witnesses or victims. This is the practice in many or most countries, but these were exceptional circumstances, and Anthony was named. Austin Metcalf being dead, the same issue did not arise for him.
So what happened next? The family of Austin Metcalf started a fundraiser for a scholarship in his memory, a noble goal. And the family of Karmelo Anthony started a fundraiser to cover his defense (American spelling) and sundry expenses.
As of 2.15am today London time, the former had reached just under $158k while the fund for the alleged murderer had reached a shade under $500k.
In due course, Anthony appeared in court before a black female judge who although a nominal Republican is obviously a diversity hire, as can be discerned from some of her statements. Or perhaps that should be a diversity vote. Whatever, Karmelo’s bail was set initially at one million dollars but this airhead agreed to reduce it to a quarter of a million. In practice, this meant Karmelo’s family had to put up only $25,000, which they could afford without tapping the fundraiser because his father is a big earner.
Returning to the fundraiser, some of the comments left on it are disturbing. They include:
“These racist white males are saying black privilege because you’re receiving a fair trial. That’s insane. And if those two kids jumped on you or assaulted you it’s self defense. Rather they like it or not. Because if those two thugs would’ve jumped you and injured you or wirst, they’d still say it was justified. Just like they did Daniel Penny and George Zimmerman”.
And
“Let’s keep going. If we give on Karmelo we give up on all our youth and that don’t stand a chance under the white folk. Let’s unite and get on code. Stop buying their Mercedes, name brand clothes, shopping in their designer stores and voting in their dumb circuses. The time is now!”
And with a $100 donation:
“I will always support black bodies as we continue to be attacked by this ‘yet to be’ United States of America.”
Some of the comments on various “black” YouTube channels beggar belief.
Below is a screengrab from the channel of Demetre Kaye, one of the clowns of the African Diaspora channel who lives in a fantasy world ruled by white supremacy. If you are white, “Them folks” who are evil means you.
As stated, this case was not and should not be seen as a race issue, but the Anthony family is making it one, or at best going along with the usual suspects, race hustlers, who are. On April 17, they held a meeting at which Karmelo’s mother made a fool of herself, claiming the family were the real victims because they had been receiving death threats, yadda, yadda, yadda. This is a standard ploy. It remains to be seen if any of these threats were reported to the authorities and if so what action was taken, but people use strong language on-line, and most of the animosity in this case has been directed at the victim and his family - Austin Metcalf in case you forgot.
If Karmelo’s mother was a fool, the man they brought in to host this meeting was a clown; one of his many complaints was that the school should have stopped the meeting because of rain, and if they had, this tragic incident would never have happened.
That man is Dominique Alexander who runs something called the Next Generation Action Network. You can read all about him here. In view of his appalling antecedents, it is likely Karmelo’s family will be parting company with him soon, if they haven’t already.
Some of the clowns commenting on this case have compared it with those of Kyle Rittenhouse and Daniel Penny. Rittenhouse shot three people - all of them white - killing two of them. As the entire thing was caught on camera, the comparison is clearly frivolous. Daniel Penny was tried for the manslaughter of Jordan Neely, and acquitted. Again, the circumstances were entirely different; Neely had threatened the passengers on a New York Subway train and Penny restrained him in a chokehold. Penny wasn’t the only person restraining Neely and although with the wisdom of hindsight they might have acted differently, stabbing someone through the heart in a non-threatening situation is hardly comparable. Anthony was not in a closed environment, he could and should simply have left the tent.
A comparison worth making is the way black activists and race hustlers reacted to a recent amusing incident in Pennsylvania. LaTarsha Brown turned up for work one morning and claimed to have found a noose on her desk at Allentown City Hall. For some reason, the mere sight of a noose sends some black Americans into hysterics, so it was here. A demonstration was held outside the building by people chanting “Black lives matter” which suggests they were members or at least supporters of a certain thoroughly discredited race hustling organisation.
Unfortunately for LaTarsha Brown, law enforcement took this affair very seriously and asked for DNA swabs from the people who shared her office. One person refused. Guess who that was? So a search warrant for her DNA was issued, and sure enough, DNA on the noose matched LaTarsha Brown. We could mention the Jussie Smollett hoax or literally dozens of others; all these generate massive publicity for imaginary crimes against blacks by whites, yet when a white teenager is the victim of a real crime and pays with his life, he isn’t really the victim, the perpetrator is.
What is the cause of this madness? The short answer is brainwashing, and most of that brainwashing is by reds rather than blacks, ie communists and fellow travellers.
To date, the far left - what might be termed the white left - has literally ignored this case, probably because they realise that portraying Karmelo as the victim is a lost cause. At the moment, but if he is convicted, a few years down the line you can expect to see them branding this case a miscarriage of justice as they did in England with convicted murderer Satpal Ram.
It goes far beyond that though, to take just one example, on May 22, 2017, an Islamist fanatic exploded a bomb at a concert held at the Manchester Arena, a concert attended mostly by young girls. Twenty-two people were killed, apparently all of them white, most young girls. And the response from the extreme left? Resist the racist backlash. The same thing happened last year with the Southport Massacre which saw three young girls horribly murdered. The extreme left were not concerned about them, only with the “racist backlash”, and indeed with the ongoing grooming gang scandal which has seen literally hundreds of young white girls raped the length and breadth of Britain, the principal concern of the extreme left has been to exculpate the predators, overwhelmingly men of Pakistani origin.
If you have any doubt about this phenomenon, reverse the races. It works every time. In April 1993, a black teenager named Stephen Lawrence was murdered by an all-white gang, one of whom stabbed him. The failure of the police to bring the killers to book at the drop of a hat led to hysteria that resounds three decades and more later. Stephen Lawrence now has his own day; can you name one white teenager who was murdered by a black gang? The murder of white Ben Kinsella fifteen years later was portrayed as a mere knife crime.
In the United States, not only are white victims largely ignored but black victims - real and imagined - are given special treatment. The very public death of small time criminal George Floyd was used as a pretext for burning America’s cities to the ground. Kyle Rittenhouse, whom we have already mentioned, shot his attackers during a large scale civil disturbance in Kenosha, Wisconsin. And the cause of that disturbance?
On August 23, 2020, Jacob Blake was shot seven times and left crippled during an attempt to arrest him. The police officers concerned were serving a warrant for several offences including a sexual assault. What happened to Blake was of course tragic, but he had only himself to blame. The shooting was filmed by a local resident so you can judge for yourself if it was justified. You can also ask yourself if whites have ever rioted like that when they have been shot or beaten by police. The short answer is no. Have you even heard the names Daniel Shaver, Tony Timpa or hundreds of others?
Jews have likewise had their own wake up call. For decades, Jewish establishments in the US, the UK and Europe have smeared and derided whites, calling for more and more repressive race laws and yet more immigration from Third World countries. All that changed the day after the October 7 atrocities when not only Moslems but white “radicals” sided with the murderers instead of with the victims. The disgraceful scenes on especially American campuses had less to do with anti-Semitism than with the brainwashing associated with so-called anti-racism. If the majority of Israelis had not been white, we would not have seen any of this madness.
The bottom line is that whether or not black lives matter, white lives don’t. Whites, especially white men, are seen only as oppressors, or even a cancer. Susan Sontag actually called us that. Then there is the cry always for reparations, Two years ago, some clown in the Caribbean claimed Britain should pay blacks $14 trillion dollars in reparations. For what? Dragging his race out of the Stone Age?
The photograph below was taken in 1930, the year Ray Charles was born. Where the White Man hadn’t trod or the Arab before him, this was how the African lived. He never got around to inventing the wheel, much less devising a written language. Without a written language, civilisation cannot progress because knowledge cannot be transmitted down the generations.
The phrase white supremacy or white world supremacy came about because the White Race literally conquered the world, but this was a conquest that brought with it civilisation, the rule of law, and especially new technologies. While there have been significant contributions by especially the Arabs and the Chinese, it is fair to say white men in particular created the modern world.
Much as the braindead supporters of Karmelo Anthony may despise them, without white men there would be nothing. Without white men, blind boys like Ray Charles would have grown up in mud huts illiterate and without prospects, if they grew up at all. It is because of the white man’s medicine rather than voodoo that the population of Africa increased from 140 million in 1900 to over one and a half billion today. It is because of the white man’s technology that every peasant in the remotest village of India owns a mobile phone and because its dynamic leader Narendra Modi has embraced this technology.
True, there is a definite downside to the civilisation white men have created, but as the great Thomas Sowell says, always consider the alternative. Would yellow supremacy have been better than white supremacy? How would its detractors have fared under The Four Olds?
Or how about Islamic supremacy? How did blacks fare under the Caliphate? How would they fare under a future caliphate in which alcohol, dogs and even rap music would be banned?
Returning to Karmelo Anthony, it will be many months, very likely a year or more before he is put on trial in spite of its being ostensibly an open and shut case. Self-defense is a complete defense to murder, but if he is acquitted by a Bronx jury, we will see no riots, no social unrest, only a few rants on social media which will be dismissed as racist.
Whether or not Karmelo Anthony is acquitted, one thing we will see for certain is the end of white guilt. We are already seeing that in Europe, including the UK and especially Ireland where our governments are using incredibly repressive legislation and tactics to promote the ongoing invasion of these islands by bogus asylum seekers.
Finally, back in the United States, an important mainstream vlogger has had his wake up call. Jeremy Hambly runs a YouTube channel and website called The Quartering.
He has been open in his disgust of the Karmelo Anthony saga, especially at the size of his fund-raiser. Jacob Couch and his wife were waiting for a bus in Tucson to return to their home in Alabama when a black psychopath attacked him with a hatchet for no reason. Hambly was incensed at the lack of media coverage so started a fund-raiser for Jacob’s wife and two daughters with $5,000 of his own money. Jacob has since died and a man has been charged with his murder.
