The New Pope Is A TERF!
On May 8, 2025, the American bishop Robert Prevost ascended to the Papacy as Pope Leo XIV. The 69 year old is the first American to be so elevated; although he was born in Chicago, he holds dual American-Peruvian citizenship, having spent the best part of two decades, in total, working in Peru.
A decade ago he criticised what has been called the anti-immigration rhetoric of a certain Donald Trump. This has led some of the more conspiratorially-minded to suggest that he was elected under pressure of the globalists on this account. They haven’t yet suggested that his predecessor was murdered to facilitate it, but give them time!
The good news is that whatever his views on globalism, the new Pontiff is sound on sexual matters. In other words, he is a TERF. On the off-chance you are not familiar with that term, it is an acronym that stands for Trans-Exclusionary Radical Feminist. That doesn’t mean the new Pope or any TERF is an actual feminist, it means he is someone who does not believe a man can change his sex by changing his pronouns, even if he puts on make-up and wears a dress, or subjects himself to the most horrific kind of surgical mutilation. Nor can a woman change her sex by changing her pronouns, even if she subjects herself to or is brainwashed into allowing a double hysterectomy or worse.
Indeed, the new Pope has very sound views on sex, even though he abstains from it himself. According to The Guardian, he isn’t too keen on any kind of sexual perversion, fetish or degeneracy. In a 2012 address, he is said to have condemned the Western mass media for being “extraordinarily effective in fostering within the general public enormous sympathy for beliefs and practices that are at odds with the Gospel – for example abortion, homosexual lifestyle, euthanasia”.
In 2012, the trans movement wasn’t really a thing, certainly the general public hadn’t heard of it, but it won’t belong before the new Pope says something that really makes its practitioners angry, like insisting there will never be unisex toilets in the Vatican.
Traditional Catholics have much to be happy about, so does at least one atheist if GROK is to be believed.
