The Land Of 10,000 Fakes
Ilhan Omar, the fake Moslem Congresswoman for Minnesota since 2019, has never been shy about taking potshots at Donald Trump or Republicans generally, but whether or not she married her own brother for reasons (thankfully) that had nothing to do with sexual attraction, she and Minnesota Governor Tampon Tim Walz could soon be in the proverbial up to their necks. Omar, Walz and some of the most powerful people in the State.
While mainstream news reporting on the multi-billion dollar scandal in the land of 10,000 lakes has been subdued, Fox News, independent conservative media, and even a few Somalis have spoken out about it.
On November 24, the Department Of Justice announced that the 78th (seventy-eighth) defendant had been charged in the Feeding Our Future fraud case. Abdirashid Bixi Dool is facing a seven count indictment alleging his participation in a rip-off of $1.1 million, a drop in the ocean of what is thought conservatively to be a billion dollar fraud and which some pundits claim may involve as much as $8 billion.
In August, Abdifatah Yusuf was found guilty of a $7 million plus fraud relating to the Medicaid Program, but this month, Judge Sarah West overturned the trial verdict. While not unprecedented, it is extremely rare for a mere judge to do this; normally, overturning a trial verdict would involve an appeal to (in this case) the Minnesota Court of Appeals. This suggests that the State’s endemic corruption extends way beyond Somalis.
That being said, there are clearly deep cultural problems here. Abdi Iftin arrived in America from Somalia via Kenya a decade ago and has been a citizen since January 2020; unlike many Somali immigrants, he speaks fluent English. Now a resident of Maine, recently he spoke to Fox News about how tribal loyalties – tribal rather than racial – dictate the behaviour of 80% of Somalis in America. This was in the wake of a massive fraud scandal in Maine as well.
Whatever the truth of that claim, the new, revamped FBI under Kash Patel is now heavily involved in uncovering the full extent of all these schemes, but the last word so far must go to Ilhan Omar who said any link between Somali fraud and terrorism would be a failure of the FBI. Well, at least this time she isn’t blaming racism.

Multiculturalism makes for some interesting stories.
