The FBI Gives The ADL Its Marching Orders (At Last)
After the treacherous James Comey and the equally corrupt Christopher Wray, Donald Trump has finally appointed an FBI Director who has integrity as well as a backbone. This Wednesday, Kash Patel severed the Bureau’s links with the misnamed Anti-Defamation League. The principal reason for this appears to be someone drawing his attention to the fact that Turning Point USA was listed in its grandly titled Glossary of Extremism and Hate, and that after the very public assassination of Turning Point’s founder on September 10.
The ADL also appears to have taken down the Glossary, at least for the moment. The index page is still there but it leads nowhere. An imperfect snapshot can be accessed through the Wayback Machine.
According to the ADL, its mission statement is “To stop the defamation of the Jewish people and to secure justice and fair treatment to all.”
This is a noble goal, or it would be if that claim were true, but although it may on occasion have done some good work, the ADL has been a lie machine and a propaganda outfit from its very inception.
Its inspiration was the 1913 trial of Leo Frank in Atlanta. On August 25, Frank was convicted of the murder of Mary Phagan and was sentenced to death the following day. The date of his execution was set for October 10, but the case dragged on until his sentence was commuted to life imprisonment. The natives didn’t like that at all, and in August 1915, a posse kidnapped Frank from the Milledgeville State Penitentiary, drove him back to Atlanta, and strung him up from a tree.
The ADL was founded by the lawyer Sigmund Livingston in October 1913, ostensibly on account of the rank anti-Semitism of the press and public at the time. Frank was the manager and part-owner of the Atlanta pencil factory where this poor girl was murdered, and powerful Jews would have had the nation and the world believe he was convicted solely because he was a Jew.
That claim doesn’t wash for a very good reason; at the end of the day, there were only two men who could have murdered Mary; the other was Jim Conley, a low class Negro who eked out a living pushing a broom. There is also some evidence that he was Frank’s gofer.
Conley was the star witness at Frank’s trial, and although he was cross-examined by one of the finest defense attorneys in America, his testimony was largely unshaken. There is also some evidence that Frank attempted to frame another Negro, Newt Lee, the factory’s nightwatchman.
The idea that a wealthy Jew in the segregated Deep South was lower down the food chain than a low class Negro beggars belief. All the same, many prominent Jews including those running the ADL refused to accept his guilt and campaigned tirelessly. In 1982, they, or someone, convinced Alonzo Mann to sign an affidavit blaming the murder on Jim Conley. Mann was a 13 year old office boy at the time of the murder.
Although the ADL succeeded in persuading the authorities to grant Frank a pardon (for failing to protect him), his murder conviction was never rescinded.
If the ADL spent an inordinate amount of time and resources campaigning for one murderer, it has spent a great deal more smearing Americans as anti-Semites, overwhelmingly white Americans, but not only whites, as well as undermining the dominant white Anglo-Saxon culture.
The ADL was instrumental in the notorious Brown v Topeka lawsuit which led to the desegregation of the public schools and the resultant racial tensions that have persisted ever since. It filed an amicus brief in that case.
In 1964, two of its leading activists published Danger On The Right, an outright smear job on white conservatives. Writing in his 1968 book The Jew In American Politics, Nathaniel Weyl said of this: “The Anti-Defamation League supposedly exists to refute slanders against the Jewish people and promote tolerance amongst the non-Jewish majority. It is difficult to believe that the best way of bringing this about is for the national chairman of the ADL to slander some twenty per cent of the American people as associates of ‘kooks, ’ ‘bigots’ and ‘yahoos.’ ”
That’s right, twenty percent – that figure has been bandied about ever since.
In the early 1990s, the ADL was caught up in a domestic spying scandal which resulted in two Gentile stooges facing charges. There was a certain amount of outrage, but the extremely well-funded ADL escaped without paying a significant penalty.
The ADL’s smears on individual Americans and organisations is exceeded only by its absurd “Hate Symbols Database”. Did you realise that numbers can be anti-Semitic? Here are a few examples: 28 is said to be
“the white supremacist alphanumeric code for Blood & Honour (2=B and 8=H), an international racist skinhead group that began in Great Britain in the 1980s.”
More significantly, 28 is a perfect number, ie the sum of its proper divisors are equal to itself, in particular 1, 2, 4, 7 & 14.
But 14 is also anti-Semitic or just plain racist, it is said to stand for “The Fourteen Words” which is a real thing. So is silicon, the fourteenth element in the periodic table, and silicon is used for making chips. No, not French fries!
The numbers 12 & 13 can also be found in this absurd database; 12 is said to be the numeric symbol for the Aryan Brotherhood of Texas, or maybe it’s just the number of months in a year while 13 is a numeric symbol for the Aryan Circle, or perhaps for a baker’s dozen, or simply unlucky for some.
One more will suffice: 100% is said to be shorthand for 100% white, or perhaps 100% crazy in the ADL’s case.
In view of all the above and a lot more that could be written, it is difficult to understand why this pernicious outfit was ever afforded any credibility at all. Kash Patel has done America a big favour by cutting ties with it, and the relevant authorities would do Americans an even bigger favour by rescinding its tax-exempt status.
