You see, it’s all about violence against women – VAW. Violence against women and girls – VAWAG. It’s all about those wicked sexists and misogynists. Or is it?

Try this on for size, ladies. How many women did the following serial killers murder?

Larry Eyler

John Gacy

Michael Lupo

Dennis Nilsen

Stephen Port

Try none.

All the above are now dead bar Port. And all were homosexuals. Gacy, who remains the most notorious, was married and divorced twice, the first time very likely for love. He claimed to be bisexual, but it is clear that by the time of his second divorce he was totally homosexual. Elton John followed a similar course except he married only one woman, and instead of murder he produced great music.

So what is the point? The point is that it shoots down your pathetic victim narrative. Were Gacy, Nilsen and Port guilty of violence against men, violence against men and boys? Of course not, these people are sick in the head, so are men who murder women for perverted thrills. As for lesser acts of violence, this is committed overwhelmingly by men against other men. Overwhelmingly, but not exclusively, and although they are comparatively rare, violent women, including even female serial killers, are far from unknown.
