The Delusional World Of Ayanna Pressley
Ayanna Pressley may not be the most high profile member of the Democrat contingent known as The Squad, but she is certainly the most recognisable. Her baldness isn’t a fashion statement though, it is the result of alopecia. If she is the most recognisable she is also arguably the most angry, and her anger is entirely misplace because like every other Squad member she views America and indeed the entire world through the prism of race, in particular one of white supremacy.
Pressley came from what might be called a broken family or more accurately a one parent family because her father spent most of her childhood in prison. Details are scarce but his convictions appear to have been drug-related. However, the white supremacist system appears to have had a blind spot because he was later able to enter higher education and retire as a professor, an accomplishment of which his daughter is clearly proud.
Pressley herself excelled in school but she makes two dubious claims about her childhood and youth. The first is that she suffered a decade of child sexual abuse; the second is that she was raped at college. These claims are easily made and for many women in the public eye they are almost a badge of honour. Pressley is far from the only politician to claim to be a “survivor”, and they are not all Democrats.
The rape allegation is easily debunked because if she had indeed been raped she would have reported it and would never have stopped talking about it. The same can be said of the moronic Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. If either of these women were indeed raped, as high profile empowered “women of color” (to use that sick phrase) they have betrayed all American women because their rapists would have been at liberty to prey on others.
Pressley’s reticence to seek justice for her own alleged rape is in stark contrast to her endorsement of the witch-hunt of Brett Kavanagh.
In 1991, Clarence Thomas was nominated for the Supreme Court. Determined to keep another conservative off the highest court in the land, even a black conservative, the Democrats (led by then Senator Biden) came up with the disgusting tactic of accusing him of sexual harassment, and to that effect induced a former workmate of Thomas to make claims of that nature. Thomas denied all the allegations made by Anita Hill and humiliated his opponents with a classic rebuff.
A quarter of a century later they plumbed new depths with Christine Blasey Ford. Predictably, the airing of her false allegation of attempted rape from their teen years caused other accusers to crawl out of the woodwork, out of the gutter, and in one case, out of the sewer. Pressley considered the Ford claim and one by Deborah Ramirez to be genuine, so filed an impeachment resolution against Kavanagh. Thankfully, it went nowhere, and just for the record, here is a comprehensive debunking of the Blasey Ford lie. One final point, an op-ed for the Boston Herald called out Pressley’s hypocrisy on this sad affair.
It is though on the issue of race that Pressley really loses her cool; she spouts so much rubbish on the subject that a full examination would fill a book, but here is a handful of examples.
The very public death of drug addict and small time criminal George Floyd was used as the pretext by Marxists and other unsavouries to riot across America and indeed worldwide. If you believed or still believe George Floyd was murdered, here is an analysis of his toxicology report which says otherwise. Ayanna Pressley supported these riots, which have been memed as “mostly peaceful”, though to be fair there were far worse offenders.
The riots evolved into plunder and especially shoplifting on an unprecedented scale, and this led in turn to shops closing, including major stores. When Walgreens decided to close a store in her home state, Pressley attacked the company as...well, see for yourself in this slightly humorous video takedown of her nonsense. (Should this video be removed from YouTube at any time, it has been archived).
While Pressley approved of or was at least unconcerned about the rioting during the Summer of Floyd, she had a very different take on the rioting in the capital on January 6, 2021.
Like countless other dupes, she called this riot an insurrection, and predictably said it was inspired by “white supremacy”. Like many others, she called for the impeachment of Donald Trump and railed at length on its supposed effect on black Americans specifically.
We know now that not only was this riot not an insurrection but that a number of people – including Nancy Pelosi – took steps to ensure than what was clearly going to be an angry protest got out of hand. Justice has now been done to the J6 defendants – except Ashley Babbitt who was murdered by a Capitol police officer. In due course, justice will also hopefully be done to the real insurrectionists, including those who foisted the Russian collusion hoax on the nation and the world.
Finally, it should come as no surprise that the new Administration’s successful deconstruction of so-called DEI is something Pressley abhors. According to her “They want a country for and by millionaires that advances white supremacy”. The “They” referred to here are MAGA Republicans, a fair number of whom are black. What Pressley and her ilk are incapable of understanding is that all this garbage about diversity, equity inclusion does nothing to help the “marginalised communities” she refers to constantly but it does create high paying jobs for people who do no productive work and is thus a drain on the community. When implemented in certain professions, DEI lowers standards and is a threat to public safety. As she is clearly not a diversity hire herself, Pressley should be opposed to it. Sadly though, she will continue to apply her considerable intelligence to worthless causes, including hating the “white supremacist” system that elevated her to a position of power.
