Suddenly, The Democrats Love Free Speech

As reported here last week, the September 10 assassination of Charlie Kirk did not go unnoticed or uncelebrated by the Trotskyite Socialist Workers Party on this side of the Atlantic.

Closer to home, the extreme left and indeed many of the not-so-extreme left thought there was something distinctly funny about a man being shot dead on a Utah campus in front of his wife, baby son and young daughter. Five years ago, the same people were horrified by the death of a small time criminal dying under the knee of a police officer in Minnesota.

The death of George Floyd resulted in riots not only across the United States but across much of the Anglosphere and the “cancellation” of many people for ultra-trivial misdemeanors committed years in the past.

Now, the boot is very much on the other foot because countless people who mocked Charlie Kirk have been sacked or suspended from their jobs. One of the biggest names to face such cancellation is the comedian (so-called) Jimmy Kimmel whose late night show has been taken off the air. This followed a distasteful (and dishonest) monologue on September 15 and has caused outrage from the usual suspects, but conservative commentators have been swift to point out the sheer hypocrisy. Melanie King played several clips of Democrats laughing at the cancellation of conservatives including one of the moronic Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez laughing at Tucker Carlson’s exit from Fox News; Tucker has since done very well for himself.

Tim Pool was not content merely to rail at Democrat hypocrisy but called for stronger measures against those working to destroy America from within, including Antifa. Pool has been swatted a number of times and is fearful that another lunatic driven over the edge by the Trump-deranged mainstream media may attempt to assassinate him.

Earlier, Attorney General Pam Bondi caused outrage when she called for “hate speech” laws, but Pool is sympathetic, explaining to his late night audience that what Antifa and their fellow travellers engage in, amounts to direct incitements to violence. For example, one says “Punch a Nazi” then another says “There’s a Nazi”...the word kill can be substituted for punch. These people have also been doxxing conservatives and making their lives Hell.

The President has said the time has come to crack down properly on Antifa, branding it a terrorist organisation. New York Democrat Jerry Nadler once claimed stupidly that Antifa does not really exist, it is simply an idea. Just because it doesn’t issue its activists with membership cards does not mean it isn’t an organisation in a meaningful sense. Trump should use RICO legislation to take it down, which he may do; he has also spoken about going after its funding.

This, the Kimmel cancellation and the actions taken against others who mocked Charlie Kirk led one Democrat Congressman to claim that when they take back the House next year, impeachment will be on the table for Trump yet again. This is a pipe dream, in spite of their amen corner in the media, the Democrats are bleeding both financial support and membership because over the past few years they have literally gone mad prioritising illegal immigrants over America citizens, opposing sensible policies that reduce crime, and supporting the invasion of women’s spaces by at times dangerous dudes in dresses.

The leftist trashing of Charlie Kirk and the mocking of his murder may well be the final nail in the coffin of the Democratic Party, and that is before we mention any of the coming indictments for the Russiagate hoax.
