Hillary Not Obama Was Behind The Russian Collusion Hoax
The recent release and statements of Tulsi Gabbard point the finger at Barack Obama for the Russian collusion hoax and the outrageous disruption of Donald Trump’s first Presidential term. Without wishing to undermine anything she has said, it should be clear that the prime mover was the odious Hillary Clinton.
Let us review how we got here. For his first Presidential run, Obama was billed as the hope and change candidate, though after his second term the assessment of many was that he had been not only divisive but bad for America in many ways. What people who make this assessment forget is that in 2008, the Republican candidate was John McCain, a warmonger who would have set the Middle East alight, if not the entire world.
Obama may have been misguided in his approach to Iran, but he did kill Osama bin Laden. At the time, many people were critical of this, but in retrospect it would have been a logistical nightmare to arrest (or kidnap) him in Pakistan and bring him back to the United States for trial.
In the run-up to 2016, the protagonists were essentially Hillary and a field of 17 Republicans. Having served two terms, Obama was obviously not a candidate, but he did endorse Hillary, whom he had defeated in 2008 and who had served in his First Administration as Secretary of State.
Many people, including those who should have known better, regarded Trump as a joke candidate, so he was boosted covertly by Democrats believing he would be easy to defeat, but after he slaughtered a high quality field, it became clear that should he win the Presidency, he would be a real candidate of change, a change the Deep State would do everything in its power to obstruct. This video explains in under 3 minutes the real reason Trump was so hated and feared, and why he remains so.
Obama was all but unknown outside of Chicago before his first run, even though he had been an Illinois state senator since 1997. By contrast, Hillary had been First Lady of Arkansas twice and First Lady of the United States twice. She also had a long, documented history of corruption dating back to the surreal cattle futures affair when Obama was still in high school. In 1995 and again in 1998, Hillary came close to being indicted for obstruction during the Whitewater investigation, so although Obama didn’t have much of a track record, Hillary did, and it was all bad.
The Russiagate hoax began in earnest when former MI6 agent Christopher Steele turned up in Washington peddling his absurd dossier. It would eventually come to light that this had been paid for by the Clinton campaign through the law firm Perkins Coie to disguise its funding. It remains to be seen how many other lies were paid for by Mrs Clinton but in 2016, John Brennan produced a handwritten memo, probably as a CYA document, to the effect that she was indeed responsible.
The big question is not did Obama know about this but how much attention did he give it? Democrat politics has been a very dirty game since at least the 1990s, so he probably thought so what? At any rate, whatever action if any the DOJ decides to take against the perpetrators of this hoax, Mrs Clinton should be the first person indicted while Barack Obama should be a long way down the list behind Christopher Steele, James Comey, and a few dozen others.
