A Foolish Old Woman Drinks The Anti-Trump Kool-Aid
No sooner had he taken office for the second time than Donald Trump pardoned around fifteen hundred of the January 6 defendants – those who were still in prison and those who had long been released. And they were all grateful. All but one. The odd one out was a woman named Pam Hemphill who rejected the pardon and explained why to Sky News.

She claims January 6 was an insurrection although unlike some of the talking head idiots at the time she stops short of claiming it was worse than the attack on Pearl Harbor in 1941 or the 9/11 outrages. The attack on the Capitol was a riot that got out of hand. Around half a dozen people had firearms including an off-duty DEA agent but the only person shot was Ashli Babbitt – who was murdered by Lieutenant Michael Byrd. In typical Deep State fashion, Byrd was cleared of any criminal act.
Donald Trump had told his supporters to march to the Capitol “peacefully”, which most of them did. He had though anticipated trouble, so well in advance had offered Nancy Pelosi ten thousand soldiers or national guard to guard the building. Pelosi refused this offer. Again, this is a matter of public record. It is also a matter of record that there were undercover FBI agents present; there is nothing necessarily sinister about that because there will be undercover police officers present at any large demonstration or “happy” event like a carnival, not only in the United States but everywhere.
Large crowds attract pickpockets at the very least, and a hidden police presence is always a positive thing. On January 6 however, some of the undercover agents also entered the building and some were undoubtedly agents provocateurs. To complicate matters, while there were fights with the police on one side of the building, on the other side, they let demonstrators in. One man was acquitted after a bench trial (ie by a judge sitting without a jury) because he had actually been waved into the building by a police officer. Matthew Martin had been facing four charges, which illustrates the tactics used by the authorities with regard to that day. This is in fact rather typical of the American criminal justice system, and something that needs to be tackled. The state will massively overcharge a suspect and threaten him with a horrendous sentence. Then he will be offered a plea bargain. Admit to a misdemeanor and walk free or serve a minimum sentence. Fight it, and if you are convicted, we will trash your life. If you have time, look us some of the charges faced by J6 defendants and ask yourself if this was not the case with many of them.
In addition to admitting her guilt, Pam Hemphill accuses Trump supporters of rewriting history. Here is an article about revisionist history, but the bottom line is that sometimes history needs to be rewritten. Any time an appeal court quashes a conviction it is rewriting history after a fashion. In this case though, the history of J6 was rewritten in real time by the mainstream media and affirmed by the rump January 6 Committee. With regard to Pam Hemphill’s admission of guilt, here is what she was convicted of.
At that time she was nearly seventy years old, not your typical insurrectionist! In spite of the flowery wording of the charge all she did was trespass in a public building. End of. By comparison, when protesters, mainly women, were arrested at the Capitol in 2018 during the (outrageous) Kavanaugh protests, there were no allegations of insurrection. Nearly three hundred people were arrested including the (not funny) comedienne Amy Schumer who was released the same day and faced at most a $50 fine. This is par for the course for how leftists are treated by the authorities in Democrat-run states. Returning to Pam Hemphill, she claimed MAGA is a cult and that Trump had spread the lie that he was cheated out of victory in the 2020 election.
While it is true that the Democrats received the most votes, the question remains was this a free and fair election? Actually, it doesn’t remain, because it is now an established fact that powerful conspirators tried to cheat him out of victory in 2016. This started with the Steele dossier that was financed by Hillary Clinton, a document senior people in the FBI knew was total garbage yet still used as a pretext to disrupt his Administration. These lies continued all through the first Trump Administration coupled with attempts to impeach him and remove him from office.
In the run-up to the 2020 election, the mainstream media suppressed all mention of the Hunter Biden laptop, and no fewer than 51 former intelligence officials signed a letter that said it had all the hallmarks of Russian disinformation, even though the FBI knew it was genuine because they had the original.
During the election itself, there was massive ballot harvesting and acknowledged fraud. There is a certain amount of fraud in every American election, especially in local elections, not all of it by Democrats, but in this one there was more than most. A lot more could be written in this vein, but it will suffice to say that many Democrats – including Stacey Abrams in Georgia and Hillary Clinton - have repeatedly claimed to have been cheated at the ballot box with far less justification than Donald Trump, especially Mrs Clinton because in 2016 she lost not because of but in spite of cheating.
It is now clear that everything Donald Trump said about the Biden gang was true, the clearest evidence for which is the swathe of pre-emptive pardons Biden signed, including for his own family members, on his way out the door.
Next, Pam Hemphill points out that Trump is now a convicted felon, but does she have any idea what these felonies were? Paying off an extortionist with his own money through a lawyer and calling it a legal expense! This outrageous indictment, trial and conviction has been criticised by many legal scholars and will undoubtedly be overturned on appeal.
Next, she attacks the Proud Boys whom she says are extreme racists and white supremacists. The leader of the Proud Boys is Enrique Tarrio, who is black! Trump has often been called a white supremacist, a charge that does not appear to have been made before his Presidential run, but it is clearly nonsense. However, as an aside, although Trump isn’t a white supremacist, Abraham Lincoln was! Does that make him a bad guy?
We can skip over the rest of Pam Hemphill’s nonsense. The simple fact is that this is a dumb woman, so dumb she calls herself an insurrectionist for walking unarmed through a public building, so dumb she believes any garbage the mainstream media feeds her.
